Burgundy trade share hits new high

by admin / 2018-08-27 08:16 Click: Burgundy’s share of trade on the Liv-ex Exchange hit a new high for the year recently, rising to 17%.

  Burgundy trade share hits new highDuring the week of 27 October to 2 November, Liv-ex reported that while Bordeaux’s share of trade declined from 65.5% the week before to 60.1%, Burgundy’s share of total trades on the Exchange jumped from 12% to 17%.

Big name trades from the region included Joseph Drouhin, Armand Rousseau and Georges Roumier.

The week’s most traded single label however was from Italy, Luciano Sandrone’s 2008 Barolo Vigne.
